Natalie Streander was born and raised in the small town of Cloudcroft, New Mexico. After making small film projects for a computer class in grade school she fell in love with the idea of telling stories visually. She went on to study film for a summer at the University of Southern California and continued her education at the Creative Media Institute of New Mexico State University where she received her bachelors of Creative Media with a minor in Creative Writing. She has written various short films as well as features, and directed a number of local shorts, music videos and promotional videos in Southern New Mexico, as well as an international documentary.
